What are the two most important documents a lawyer can draft as part of estate planning?
When this question is asked at the many workshops our fimr provides, the usual answers are either a will or a trust. Very few of the participants mention power of attorney documents. However, without questions, the most important documents that any lawyer in Missouti can draft for any client are Durable Power of Attorney for Financial matters and the Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care matters.
