Important information on Medicare
This site helps you find skilled nursing facilities in your area. You can search by city and state, and a list of facilities in that area will pop up with lots of valuable information. That information includes, but is not limited to, ratings the state gives each one based on state health inspections made, the number of beds, the number of employees, whether or not Medicaid beds are available, and ratings for the quality of resident care. You can take a deep dive into collected information about each facility, and there is a comparison tool you can use to assess several facilities at once. By using this tool, along with your own research, you are better equipped to make an informed decision for your loved one.
